Add-Ons:
- Oracle Virtual Desktop Client for iPad 1.1
(December 2011)
- Oracle Virtual Desktop
Client for iPad 1.0 (June 2011)
- Oracle Virtual Desktop Client 3.0 (OVDC 3.x,
August 2011)
- Oracle Virtual Desktop Client 2.1.11
(OVDC 2.x, April 2011)
- Oracle Virtual Desktop
Client 2.0 (formerly SDAC)
- Oracle Virtual Desktop Client (formerly
knows as Sun Desktop Access Client) installs on existing PCs and provides
the ability to connect to Oracle's desktop virtualization software. An
alternative to using a Sun Ray hardware client, the Oracle Virtual Desktop
Client provides end-users the flexibility to utilize their existing laptops
or desktop PCs to access their centralized desktops. It provides the
following features:
- Use existing Windows PCs to access
centralized desktops
- Access Sun Ray Software 5 and Oracle Virtual
Desktop Infrastructure 3.2 environments.
- Support for multimedia technology, including
the new enhancements for Adobe Flash content.
- Smart card readers are now supported on PCs
to "hotdesk" desktop sessions between PCs and dedicated Sun Ray Clients. "Hotdesking"
allows users to get instant access to their desktop sessions simply by
inserting a smart card into a Sun Ray client or a PC with a smart card
reader.
- Support for Mac OS X platform.

- PC/SC-lite 1.3
- PC/SC-lite 1.3 enables the integrated Sun
Ray Smart Card reader to be utilized as a PC/SC compliant reader when used
with 3rd party middleware products and other consumer applications of the
PC/SC lite API. PC/SC-lite 1.3 obsoletes previous PC/SC-lite releases, and
includes a number of bug fixes pertaining to the prior releases.
Additional packages include a USB Smart Card
reader driver (CCID handler), and a set of PC/SC-lite tools (ie. utilities
that run as clients of PC/SC lite) that perform various operations to assist
the administrator with PC/SC-lite transaction logging and analysis, and also
provide workaround examples for some PC/SC-lite known issues.
Personal Computer/Smart Card (PC/SC) is the
standard framework for Smart Card device access on Windows, Linux and UNIX
platforms. This distribution is derived from the Open Source M.U.S.C.L.E.
project. The distribution includes an optional package that extends PC/SC-lite,
enabling it to interoperate with the Sun Ray thin client environment (on
Solaris only). PC/SC-lite 1.3 requires that a fully-patched version of Sun
Ray Server Software 4 10/08 or later be installed on the same system.
- PC/SC-lite 1.2
- PC/SC-lite 1.2 is designed to enable the
integrated Sun Ray Smart Card reader to be utilized as a PC/SC compliant
reader when used with 3rd party middleware products and other consumer
applications of the PC/SC lite API.
- Sun Ray Connector for VMware View Manager
1.1
- Sun Ray Connector for VMware
Virtual Desktop Manager 1.0
- Sun Virtual Desktop
Connector 1.0
- PC/SC-lite 1.1
- These packages, designed to work with Solaris
10 and beyond, enable the integrated Sun Ray Smart Card reader to be
utilized as a PC/SC compliant reader when used with 3rd party middleware
products and other consumer applications of the PC/SC lite API. PC/SC-lite
1.1 obsoletes PC/SC-lite 1.0, and includes a number of significant bug fixes
pertaining to the prior 1.0 release.
Additional packages include a USB Smart Card
reader driver (CCID handler), and a set of PC/SC-lite tools (ie. utilities
that run as clients of PC/SC lite) that perform various operations to assist
the administrator with PC/SC-lite transaction logging and analysis, and also

Personal Computer/Smart Card (PC/SC) is the
standard framework for Smart Card device access on Windows, Linux and UNIX
platforms. This distribution is derived from the Open Source M.U.S.C.L.E.
project. The distribution includes an optional package that extends PC/SC-lite,
enabling it to interoperate with the Sun Ray thin client environment (on
Solaris only). The optional Sun Ray package requires that a fully-patched
version of Sun Ray Server Software 4.0 (SRSS 4.0) be installed on the same
system.
- PC/SC-lite 1.0
- These packages enable the integrated Sun Ray
Smart Card reader to be utilized as a PC/SC compliant reader when used with
3rd party middleware products. Personal Computer/Smart Card (PC/SC) is the
standard framework for Smart Card device access on Windows, Linux and UNIX
platforms. This distribution is a Sun Ray implementation of the PC/SC-lite
API derived from the Open Source MUSCLE project. These packages require Sun
Ray Server Software (SRSS) 4.0.
- Sun Ray Server Software 2.0/3 PC/SC Bypass
- This package enables the integrated Sun Ray
smart card reader to be utilized as a PC/SC compliant reader when used with
3rd party middleware products. Personal Computer/Smart Card (PC/SC) is the
standard framework for Smart Card device access on Windows, Linux and UNIX
platforms. This library (binary) is a Sun Ray implementation of the PC/SC-lite
API that is part of the Open Source MUSCLE project. This package requires
Sun Ray Server Software (SRSS) 3.1 - patch 120879-01 or later for Solaris (SPARC)
systems and patch 120880-01 or later, for Solaris (x86) systems.
- Sun Ray
Server Software 2.0 Keyspan 1.0.1 USB-Serial support
- This package includes the required libraries
to use a Keyspan USB 4-Port Serial Adapter with a Sun Ray client. The
products supported are USA-49W and USA-49WLC. This device support requires
Sun Ray Server Software 2.0 with 114880-02 or higher patch revision
installed.
-
Sun Ray
Server Software 3.0/3.1 Prolific 0.9 USB-Serial driver
- This drivers allow the use of Prolific's
PL2303 based USB to Serial adapters with a Sun Ray client.
-
Sun Ray
